"Best friends forever" we promised,
"Always together till the end."
We do everything together,
You are my best friend.
When I am sad, you are by my side.
When I am scared, you feel my fear.
You are my best support -
If I need you, you're there.
You are the greatest friend,
You always know what to say.
You make everything seem better,
As long as we have eachother, everything will be okay.
But somewhere along the line,
We will slowly come apart.
I am there, you are here,
You will always have a piece of my heart.
Things will be changing,
Our 'Remember' song will hum it's tune.
It's like salt without pepper,
A sun without it's moon.
Suddenly we are miles apart,
Two different people, still with everything the same.
Although we know deep in our heart,
Neither one of us to blame.
You will make many new friends,
And hopefully, so will I.
But that didn't change the hurt,
When I moved away it made me cry.
As we grow older, things must change,
But they don't always have to end.
Even though it will be different then,
